Applause
“Congratulations! A terrific evening. You were clear, confident, and insightful. Your work is spectacular.”
- Fred Sherrill, attendee, Layerings: A Glimpse of Southeast Asia, Maryland Hall
“Your talk was both touching and intelligent…Your comments were those of someone completely open to “seeing” and that is what you brought to your experience and back to us. You gave a deep, and truly sentient lecture and took us along behind your eyes and into your heart…You are excellent – soft, strong, vulnerable and tenacious.”
- Boo Earle, attendee, Layerings: A Glimpse of Southeast Asia, Maryland Hall
“I have not doubt that all who were privileged to be in that audience this afternoon were a bit ‘transformed’ by some aspect of your offerings – whether it was on the screen, on the wall in the museum gallery, or the words that sang from your soul.”
- Jim Power, attendee, Glass Transformed, Cape Cod Museum of Art
“Getting ‘the good stuff’ is a term I use with the club members to describe sharing that is honest, authentic and appropriately technical while being on target aesthetically. You were enthusiastically piling on the good stuff at our meeting, and many members got it. Thank you again for coming to see us, and sharing how you view the world.”
- Jack Upchurch, president, The Ritual of Paying Attention, Tidewater Camera Club
“I have had lots of calls, most saying it was perhaps our very best program ever! You certainly found your niche in life and we all felt your passion and joy.”
- Townsend Kent, event chair, Inside Style Gardens, Mount Vernon Club
“Your lecture was very enlightening and thought provoking for a collector of sea glass…. Thanks for the wonderful speech and of course your delightful personality.”
- Sue Linnenbaugh, attendee, The Passionate Collector, NA Sea Glass Festival
“I enjoyed your talk and presentation here in Easton last Monday at the Academy of Arts…. You are good on your feet. Do you always lay out your soul like that? … Laying out the soul is always good I think. It invites others to be more open, vulnerable, and connected. A form of leadership in a psychological sense”.
- Mark Beck, attendee, Unexpected Beauty, Tidewater Camera Club
“Celia, you were wonderful at ASMP!!”
- Michael Cunningham, event chair, 10x10: Ten Photographers Ten Minutes Each,
American Society of Media Photographers
“They say a picture is worth ten thousand words, but only words can give us a thoughtful explanation of how photographers get what they see on film. Thanks so much for a thoughtful, enlightening presentation.”
- Scott Dine, attendee, The Life of a “Pro”, Arundel Camera Club

- Synopsis: Sea glass is an unusual treasure, an often beautiful object prized by many. Its dedicated and nationally acclaimed photographer, Celia Pearson, has noticed that once it becomes ours, the glass takes on new significances. Already transformed by the sea, these bits of glass are transformed once again, by us.
